Public announcements as well as local announcements of the City of Calw are made since April 4, 2020 by providing them on this page, unless otherwise provided by law. In addition, the city publishes the announcements in the CalwJournal. The day of announcement is considered to be the day of provision.

The texts of the public notices can be inspected free of charge by anyone during office hours in Department I of the City of Calw, Marktplatz 9, 75365 Calw, and those of the urban land use plans in the building of Department IV Building and Planning, Salzgasse 8 and 10. They will be made available as a printout against reimbursement of costs or sent by post, stating the reference address.

Public participation in urban land use planning is intended to give everyone the opportunity to protect their interests and legal positions in the urban land use planning process.

A draft development plan prepared in accordance with the principles set forth in the Building Code is approved by the Municipal Council and its public display is resolved.

The location and duration of the public display will be announced at least one week in advance on this page and in the CalwJournal. Comments can be submitted during the display period.

The draft development plan together with the explanatory memorandum and environmental report as well as the other environmental statements are available for inspection in the urban planning department and can be downloaded here.

During the period of at least 30 days of public display (Section 3 (2) BauGB), you have the opportunity to comment on the draft urban land use plans, the explanatory memorandum and the essential environmental information already available.

If the public sector has to award contracts for construction work or other services, these must be put out to public tender as soon as they exceed a certain contract value. Companies can submit bids for these orders.

As a rule, all award procedures of the municipality of Calw are carried out electronically via the “German Award Portal” platform. All documents can be downloaded free of charge and without registration. You must register to submit a bid. This is possible for you free of charge. Please note: If award documents are downloaded anonymously, i.e. without registration, you will not receive notifications of changes and will miss all bidder communication.
